HOW DO I GET AN “A” IN THIS CLASS?
1. Do all homework and quizzes in pencil.
2. Turn in all homework and quizzes on time.
3. Get a “study-buddy” and work together, compare answers, and
talk about how to do the problems.
4. Take notes and copy example problems when the teacher
explains new concepts or reviews for tests.
5. Have an excellent attendance record with few absences.
6. Achieve 90% or above on homework, quizzes, tests, and
projects.
7. Do all extra credit available each chapter.
8. Master material in class so well that you could teach it to
others.
9. Evidences an interest in learning, not just doing as little as
possible to get by.
10. Respect the teacher, do not talk, text, or move around the
room while the teacher is teaching.
11. Accept responsibility for assignments, class information, and
due dates, even if you are absent. Do not blame others when
something goes wrong.
Study Skills
1. Pay attention in class.
2. Take good notes.
3. Keep an organized notebook for each subject.
4. Know the purpose of each assignment.
5. Ask questions in class.
6. Review! Review! Review! It can help you retain 80% of the
information.
7. Plan a definite time and place for studying each day.
8. Study for a while and take short breaks.
9. Don't cram for hours the night before a test.
Study a little bit each day.
10. Think positive! Do your best! Pray!
